What's New SalesOutlook 6.0
SalesOutlook does it again. We are the first CRM Company to
utilize Microsoft Instant Search for Outlook 2007. Lighting fast
searches even for large databases.
Blazing speed at the laptop level eliminating the server
and producing true distributed processing. This exciting new
feature removes the burden from the Exchange server or the
Outlook store and allows for lower total cost of ownership.
Recommended configuration:
Vista,
Office 2007 and Windows Desktop Search 4.0.
One of the most requested features was a panel in which you
could see all related items in one view. The SalesOutlook Search
panel gives you this functionality and utilizes Instant search.
The SalesOutlook Search Panel is in addition to the SalesOutlook
power user interface of the Account Profile form..
SalesOutlook now supports Crystal Reports XI runtime to give you
even more flexibility in reporting. The SalesOutlook reporting
engine now allows for multiple reports to be run at the same
time. Also features such as dynamic parameters and expanded
graphs such as a funnel report are now possible. In addition,
this version introduces the concept of ?cascading? parameters,
where the values shown in a list of values are determined by
your previous selection. For example you could set up two
parameters, ?Account Manager? and ?Opportunity Amount?. Whenever
you selected a manager, the next parameter value list would be
filtered to only show those opportunities that you are looking
for. The Crystal Reports XI runtimes will be provided as a
separate install for users that already have the Crystal Reports
XI runtime installed.
SalesOutlook now includes the exciting new ?Checklist?
interface.
Build your own checklists without programming. Add a
checklist(s) to an account, contact, opportunity or customer
server inquiry. Assign checklist tasks and document the date
completed.
SalesOutlook now includes a ?Leads? folder for importing leads
into the system.
This helps organize leads from customers and prospects in the
SalesOutlook database. Leads can be archived to a Dead Leads
folder or moved to the production database.
SalesOutlook now includes the ability to add a contact from a
PDA. Just enter an * at the beginning of the first name and
SalesOutlook will automatically create a SalesOutlook contact
from the contact record.
SalesOutlook extends the popular email templates feature from
the contact to any email. Just click on the email templates
button and choose an email template to send or reply with.
SalesOutlook now includes the ability to add an existing
document to any searchable salesoutlook item such as a contact
or an account.
You can now run a form to select data from other folders to get
a list of contacts for a mail merge. An example could be to
select all contacts that the company is marked as a lead and the
contact is a primary contact.
SalesOutlook now keeps the search window open with your search
results for quicker access. Multiple search windows can be held
open.
A requested feature for scanning the database for changes and
alerting the user was added. You can select whether to implement
this feature or not. This is most useful during the
customization phase when the database may be changed regularly.
A requested feature for a global task folder.
You can now select the text from an existing customer service
item when creating a new inquiry. This eliminates the need to
retype text from a recurring issue..
