SalesOutlook, Inc. Announces CRM for Outlook Web Access

March 10, 2003 - Roswell, Georgia, USA -- For Immediate Release

Today, SalesOutlook, Inc. announced the integration of SalesOutlook, its pioneering Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) solution for Microsoft Outlook, Office and Exchange Server, with Microsoft's popular Outlook Web Access.

SalesOutlook Web Access is a customizable CRM extension for Outlook Web Access, and it enables corporate staff, managers and executives to use their Outlook Web Access login as the portal to a simple, powerful and user-friendly CRM solution from any PC with an Internet connection and a web browser.

Features and Benefits
SalesOutlook extends Microsoft Outlook and Office by adding a set of easy-to-use CRM / SFA tools that help the user manage customer-related information and interactions within the Outlook and Office interface. SalesOutlook Web Access extends Outlook Web Access in the same manner. SalesOutlook Web Access extends the user's Outlook Web Access session to provide CRM users with powerful, easy to use tools that enable them to identify, cultivate and expand profitable business relationships.

Besides being affordable, SalesOutlook Web Access enables organizations to implement a thin client web application that has a "zero footprint" on the client side. This not only simplifies and speeds deployment, it also offers the benefits of centralizing administration and support activities to the organization's servers. This lowers the organization's Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) associated with implementing their CRM business strategies.

With SalesOutlook Web Access, CRM users are able to manage information relating to the organization's Accounts, Account Contacts, Opportunities, Customer Service Requests, Notes, Documents, Spreadsheets and other important "Profile" and "Historical" information. SalesOutlook Web Access offers users configurable "quadrants" in their web browser that enables them to configure each quadrant to contain the information most important to them. Users are also able to use the drill-down feature to quickly access and display related information in a new browser window.

SalesOutlook Web Access, included with SalesOutlook Premium Edition, also enables organizations to further extend and customize the SalesOutlook and Outlook Web Access functionality to meet their precise needs. Developed with industry-standard web technologies like VBScript, HTML and JavaScript, WebDAV and XML, SalesOutlook Web Access is an open and extensible web-based CRM solution that scales to meet the needs of hosting providers and large, global organizations. Its attractive pricing puts it well within the means of small and mid-enterprise organizations as well.

SalesOutlook Web Access Is Unique
In 1997 SalesOutlook, Inc. pioneered the Outlook CRM movement when it released SalesOutlook v1.0. Today, SalesOutlook, Inc. is still leading the Outlook-integrated CRM trend with its CRM extension to Outlook Web Access, with its Active Security extension to Exchange that enables organizations to enforce item-level security policies on Public Folder information, and with its Pocket SalesOutlook CRM application for the various Windows CE / Pocket PC devices. SalesOutlook is the only Outlook CRM solution that enables users to use the Windows-powered device of their choice to manage CRM data.

"At this time not even Microsoft offers a seamless CRM solution that offers users the ability to add, update, and delete information using any device from any location at any time. No other software offers you the ability to manage your demand chain related information on your Pocket PC, within Outlook itself, or within Outlook Web Access using your web browser," states Craig Woirhaye, Vice President of Business Development for SalesOutlook, Inc.

Nicholas Latsos, SalesOutlook, Inc.'s Vice President of Sales adds, "It is even more surprising is that no other commercially available extensions to Outlook, Office and Exchange give customers the ability to customize and extend the 'out of the box' version of the product. SalesOutlook and SalesOutlook Web Access are both customizable and extensible since everyone's CRM needs are different. This is a key reason why people pick SalesOutlook for their CRM platform."

SalesOutlook Web Access Availability
SalesOutlook Web Access is expected to be released mid 2003, and many corporate buyers are anxious to get their hands on a zero footprint, web based CRM application that integrates with Outlook and Outlook Web Access. These savvy corporate IT buyers are eager too reap the ROI that is generated when software moves off of the desktop and onto the web server to provide anytime, anywhere access for users and centralized administration and support for IT. Several organizations are even asking to "get on the waiting list" before the product enters its formal beta review process.
